Ellis Creek is one of the best birding hotspots in central Sonoma County, where many rare birds have been documented over the years. We will be led by Andy LaCasse, who has led the Petaluma Wetland Alliance’s surveys to this spot for many years. Expect waterfowl and shorebirds. Least Bitterns were thought to have bred here this year, though they have probably gone quiet by now.
